This my Steven universe oc- Lord Staurolite
He is the ruler of the species “The Minerals.”
Long before some gems fought against their home world, there was a hidden and quiet race on a planet not too far called the “Minerals”. The minerals are a species similar to the crystal gems, only they make their weapons with their bare hands, they are genderless but they look male, and they cannot fuse that well.
For centuries the gems and the minerals have stayed their distances away from each other. They believe that the other race is plotting to take over their world.
The Gems ruler however wished to bring peace to both sides with a proposal, a wedding proposal that is. In order to bring peace to both races the ruler of the Gems was to be married to the minerals ruler; Lord Staurolite. The deal was made and they were to be married in 5 days.
However Lord Staurolite wasn’t the best ruler, true he could keep his armies in line and in order, but he had an extreme obsession on the gems gemstones. He was always fascinated with how they could pull out weapons out of their bodies, how they could transport everywhere, and most importantly how they fused together.
He only agreed to marry the Gem’s ruler because he wanted to see the gem’s and find out more about them. Days before the wedding, all he could do was watch over the gemstone of the planets inhabitance, growing his obsession even more. On the day before the wedding he tried to remove the gemstone from the ruler, hoping he could fuse it with his stone. (Mineral version of gem’s gemstone)
The ruler refused to do such over and over. Finally he had enough, that night he attacked her, beating her head into the ground, kicking her across the room, and when she was weak he removed her gemstone. Little did he know that when a gemstone fuses with a stone, the gems power gets transferred in the stone, giving him its power. After that something snapped, he realized that his race could become so powerful is they could have the powers that gems have, so he vowed that his armies would take this planet and all its gems He fled back to his world to raise his army to fight and take away the gems world. As for the ruler, she lived for only 24 more hours until she was turned to dust, due to the lack of her gem.
When the gems world found out about what Lord Staurolite did, they were enraged and prepared themselves for battle. The fight lasted for many years until one gem managed to freeze Staurolite and his army in a deep sleep and send them through a dark black hole. But he isn’t gone, in his dreams he still wishes to take every gemstone in the universe and take their powers, so that they will become the masters of the universe. Everyone believes that he and his race of soldiers are gone, but they won’t be gone…much longer.
